每个人都有自己的复习方法,但阅读我们的笔记并反复做同样的练习题很容易让人陷入困境。FG的Ella老师特意为学员们列出了10条高效复习方法,例如:提早开始复习、有条理、抽认卡、健脑食品等。希望同学们都能在期末考试中取得理想成绩~


提早开始复习

你可能有过这样的经历,在考试前一天晚上你只复习了一半的考试内容,这是非常紧张的。甚至当你第二天早晨睡醒后,你可能会忘记你复习过的内容!

You’ve probably had at least one exam where you learned half of the syllabus the night before the exam. This is super stressful, and you might not even remember it when you wake up the next morning after two hours of sleep!



成功进行考试复习的第一个秘诀是尽早开始,即使考试季临近,即使每个科目每个星期只有半小时,也能让你重新回忆起两年前学过的东西。

The first tip for successful exam revision is to start early. Even before exam season is near, even if it’s just half an hour per week for each subject, refreshing your memory of that stuff you learned 2 years ago isn’t going to hurt.

有条理

这种方法与前一种方法有某种联系。基本上,确保你了解所有需要了解的内容。做到这一点的一种方法是为每门课程打印出课程提纲,然后勾选你能记住的东西!!!这也能让你快速专注于不太会的知识点。

This one kind of ties in with the previous one. Basically, make sure you know everything you need to know. One way of doing this is printing off your syllabus for each subject and ticking off everything that you can do. This also allows you to focus on the areas that you aren’t so sure about.


用便签纸装饰你的房间

此种方式更适合考试临近的时候。如果你有一些很难记住的的知识点,例如一首诗中的一个引言,或一个化学公式,试着把它写在便签纸上。将便签纸贴在你房间的可见位置,这将是你睡觉前最后看到的东西,也是醒来时所见的第一件东西!

This one is more for when your exams are close. If you have something tricky to remember, like a quote from a poem, or a formula in chemistry, try writing it down on a post-it note. Stick the post-it note somewhere visible in your room, and it’ll be the last thing you see before you go to bed, and the first thing you’ll see when you wake up!

A4纸

无论是对书本的分析还是对生物学实验的解释,都可以尝试此种方法来解决论述题。在写以前的论述题时,在A4纸上写下完整的论述答案,之后尝试把论述的要点写在半张A4纸上,再做一遍,接着尝试将要点写在1/4的A4纸上。


以此类推,尽可能多地这样做,关键是要获取大量信息,并尝试将其浓缩成更小的、令人难忘的要点。

Try this one for essay questions, whether it’s an analysis of a book, or explaining a biology experiment. While doing a past paper write a full essay question out on a page of A4 paper. Try and take the main points of the essay and write them on to half a sheet of A4 paper. Do this again, but try and fit the main points on to a quarter side of A4. Keep doing this as much as you want, but the point is to take a lot of information and try and condense it into smaller memorable points.


语言备忘录

对于语言考试和英语考试,这种方法非常适用。如果你要记住一篇文章或一篇演讲稿,试着录下自己回答的过程。


这样的话,当你有空闲的时候(无论是去学校还是去其他地方),你都可以通过听自己的录音来进行复习。

This one works really well for language exams and English exams. If you have an essay or a speech to remember, try recording yourself talking through the answer. You can now listen to your revision when you have a spare minute, whether it’s in the car to school or walking to the shop.

抽认卡

抽认卡非常适合用来记忆定义,几乎适用于任何学科。将抽认卡与历年考试试卷相结合进行复习,将确保你理解了这些定义,并知道如何在考试中使用这些定义。

Flashcards are great for remembering definitions, and can be used for pretty much any subject. Combining flash cards with past paper practice will make sure that you understand the definitions, and know how to use the definitions in an exam.

教别人

在一天的复习结束时做这个最好。请你的朋友挑一个你最近复习的要点,尝试向他们解释。当他们向你解释一个你不太会的要点时,这种方法非常好!因为它就像考试一样,但压力减轻了。另外,你会听到一些用不同方法来回答这个问题的解释。

This one is great to do at the end of a day of revision. Ask your friend to pick a topic you’ve revised recently and try and explain it to them. Get them to explain a topic you’re not sure back to you. This is great because it’s like doing an exam, but way less stressful. Plus, you get to hear something explained to you in a completely different way.

健脑食品

每个人都喜欢在复习期间吃甜食,实际上,一年的考试季里,我每天都要吃一整罐nutella花生酱。


当然,我们所有人都需要糖,但是太多的摄入糖分也会让你崩溃,并影响复习。尝试吃水果来保持一天的能量,坚果是另一种有助于增强注意力和记忆力的食物。

Everyone likes to eat sweets during revision, in fact one year I ate an entire jar of nutella every day of exam season. We all need sugar of course, but too much can make you crash and put your revision off. Try eating fruit for sustained energy all day. Nuts are another food which helps boost concentration and memory.



充足的睡眠

进行长时间的复习似乎是个好主意,但是如果你的睡眠不足,那么复习到深夜会使你的复习工作变得更糟。确保你每天有7-8小时的睡眠,会让你每天早晨感到神清气爽并增强记忆力。

Long days of revision might seem like a good idea, but revising way into the night can make your revision worse if you aren’t getting enough sleep. Make sure you’re getting 7-8 hours of sleep to make you feel fresh every morning and boost your memory.

休息

我将其留到最后,因为我觉得这是最重要的。没有人可以整天复习并声称已经记住了所有内容。


休息可以帮助你记住更多,这是减轻压力的好方法。即使步行10分钟或在一天结束时观看你喜欢的电视节目,也请确保你每天花费至少一个小时来做自己喜欢的事情!

I saved this for last because I feel it’s the most important. Nobody can revise all day and claim to remember it all. Taking breaks can help you remember more, and is a great way to de-stress. Even if it’s just a 10 minute walk, or watching your favourite TV show at the end of the day, make sure you spend at least an hour a day doing something you enjoy!
